Dr. Abazid was raised in a family with a background in healthcare. Four of his brothers are physicians; a Pediatrician, a General Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon and Cardiologist. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with minor in Biology and concentration in Biochemistry, with the highest honors.
In 2008 Dr. Abazid graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry where he was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award as well as the Deans Award. Dr. Abazid was also given the award of excellence in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Abazid is member of the Alpha Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honor Society. During Dental School, Dr. Abazid's Skills and perfectionism was noticed by his instructors during his senior year and he was given the privilege of assisting his instructors in teaching 1st and 2nd year dental school students.
Dr. Abazid strives to stay on the cutting edge of new dental technologies.
Every month Dr. Abazid travels to attend continuing education courses that help him stay on the cutting edge of technology for the purpose of provide his patients with the best treatment possible.
